After retiring, Tom began growing heirloom tomatoes in his home garden and saving their seeds. He also leaves his sister Anne and her husband Bob Hamm of Westminster, MA. In 2019 they moved to Vernon Vermont to reside at Vernon Homes. Racing in all forms, including dirt bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and Honda Odyssey off road cars.
